Kurt Haberkorn

Kurt Haberkorn is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who attended the University of Kansas where he earned both his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Social Work. He is experienced with both inpatient and outpatient treatments, as well as hospice and home health. He works with children, adults, and seniors who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, trauma, abuse, drug/alcohol addictions, obsessive compulsive disorder, family systems, and loss/grief. Kurt is passionate about helping others improve their relationships with self, others, and God while helping them develop skills and resolve issues to achieve a higher level of functioning. Kurt enjoys his work at CFCC because he is able to openly include his spirituality and relationship with God in therapy. He believes these two aspects play important roles in one achieving positive results in the clinical setting. He has witnessed the hand of God in those with both emotional and behavioral difficulties and has seen Him completely transform their relationships with self and others.

When you show deep empathy toward others, their defensive energy goes down, and positive energy replaces it. That’s when you can get more creative in solving problems.
