With an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, followed by a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Master of Family Therapy (LMFT), I bring a unique blend of skills and perspectives to my practice. My specialty lies in working with couples, integrating theology and psychology to foster well-being. I view individuals and relationships as interconnected units, deeply rooted in generations of relationships. Additionally, I am trained in treating trauma using EMDR, which allows me to support clients in navigating their challenges effectively.
My passion in therapy is to help individuals clarify their meaning systems and harmonize their faith with their values, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I find immense joy in witnessing the healing journeys of individuals and relationships. Life can be challenging, but it’s often through these trials that we uncover our true selves and build resilience. I am honored to be a part of these transformative processes, guiding clients toward experiencing love and nurturing connections with God, themselves, and those around them.
I was drawn to the Christ First Counseling because of the incredibly talented, faith-filled, and fun team. The open and welcoming atmosphere, combined with a commitment to putting Christ first, resonates deeply with my values.
On a personal note, I have lived half my life in India and the other half in the United States. This experience has equipped me to serve as a cultural bridge for many international students pursuing advanced degrees in the U.S. Recently, I embraced a new role as a grandfather at 51, and I am thoroughly enjoying this promotion!
