Amanda Ammons

I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science in Counseling from John Brown University, specializing in sex therapy. I am dedicated to addressing a range of issues, including addictions, abuse, relational problems, fears, betrayal, and pain. I believe that sex and sexuality are beautiful, integral parts of overall health, and I’m here to support you every step of the way on your healing journey.

My passion lies in creating a safe, nurturing environment for my clients. I envision my counseling room as a little safe box—a space where you can freely share the things that are hard to say, the thoughts and feelings you may not feel comfortable discussing with anyone else. I particularly enjoy working with culturally diverse individuals and young couples, as these experiences enrich my practice and allow for deeper connections.

I chose to join CFCC because I recognized the importance of a supportive team in fostering success for both myself and my clients. Collaboration is key to effective therapy, and I value the community we build together.

Outside of my practice, I am an avid reader with a diverse collection of books—often too many to count! I also enjoy studying languages, particularly Japanese. One of my lifetime goals is to hike the Appalachian Trail with my husband.

If you feel like you need to share your life with someone, listen to that small voice. Don't struggle alone. I look forward to supporting you as you heal and grow.
