Hi, I’m currently a graduate student at Friends University in Kansas City, working toward my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. My journey into the mental health field has been shaped by over a decade of experience working with the State of Kansas, where I currently serve in the Medicaid Program. These years have deepened my desire to help people navigate life’s challenges and find meaningful healing.
As a student therapist, I’m still growing, learning, and exploring the areas I’m most passionate about. Right now, I find myself especially drawn to working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief. I also enjoy working with couples and am eager to continue developing new skills and specialties along the way.
At the heart of my work is a simple but powerful belief: anyone can change, and it’s never too late to learn. I strive to offer hope, compassion, and a safe space for people to get back on their feet and rediscover what it means to truly live.
Choosing CFCC for my practicum was a decision I made with intention and care—it felt like the right fit for both my goals and my busy schedule. I’m excited about the journey ahead and committed to learning all I can in the year to come.
