Audrey is an LMSW(Licensed Master Social Worker) at Christ First Counseling. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Services from Washburn University. She then continued her education at Washburn University for a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Audrey also holds a certification in Trauma and Recovery Services
Helping everyone know their worth and the incredible value of their life is Audrey’s passion. She loves to watch people overcome barriers, face their fears and chase their dreams. Audrey has experience working with victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. She also has experience with marriage counseling, adoption, military personnel and their families, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Audrey didn’t feel a strong pull to work in a medical setting, the school system or a child welfare agency. But when she heard of Christ First Counseling, everything changed! She became instantly excited and eager to start work. She believes this agency is the perfect fit for her and she is very grateful for this opportunity. Outside of work, Audrey and her husband John are busy taking their four daughters to various activities and practices. It’s busy but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
