Equine Specialist, EAGALA Certified

Dana Ober-Watts

Dana came to CFCC as an Equine Specialist in 2015. She has been a wonderful addition to the HELP program as she shares her love of horses and people. Dana grew up riding and working with horses. She has over 55 years of experience from “showing, trail riding, and everything in between.” She loves to share her experience and joy of horses with people. She describes it as “a calmness and a sense of love that goes with it.” She will tell you that her life is so much fuller with horses in it. She believes that horses give back much more than we give to them.

She became certified in the EAGALA model in 2015, with the purpose of “wanting others to feel the sense of joy as I do with the horses...I knew that I wanted to give back to others in and around the community...even if it helps one person, I know that the Lord put me in the right place to do this work.”

When not working, you can find Dana spending time with family and friends, watching sports in her outdoor gazebo, or taking rides to the pond in the side by side to exercise the dogs.
