I have worked in the mental health field since 2000 as an Assistant Counselor for Addictions. When the Kansas State law changed, I was grandfathered in to receive my License in Addiction Counseling effective June 2012. Also in June 2012, I received my License to provide therapy after passing the Kansas State licensing exam and completing 1120 clock hours of supervised practice in agency settings. In addition to my experience in the mental health field, I have worked and been trained as a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advocate for the past 4 years.
