Dr. Vanessa Dudley-Miller

 

Dr. Vanessa Dudley-Miller is a LMSW. She received her MSW from Washburn University with a special focus in mental health. She then increased her expertise by receiving her PhD in Therapeutic Science from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She specializes in working with individuals who experience issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and life stressors. Dr. Vanessa is able to offer counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. She is trained to use a variety of different therapies including: Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Processing, Cognitive-Behavioral, Prolonged-Exposure, problem-solving, and strength-based therapy approaches.  

Dr. Vanessa believes in the importance of guiding a person toward healing by using their strengths and resilience. These important mechanism can promote a person’s ability to work through unhealthy life experiences. Self-care practices enhance the nurturing of the mind, body, and soul toward a healthier lifestyle.

Dr. Vanessa was brought to CFCC by her desire to be a part of a strong faith-based and healthy work environment.
