Jennifer Cavin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a certified Sexual Addiction Treatment Provider (C-SATP). She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washburn University and a Master’s degree in Counseling with a Marriage and Family emphasis from Mid-America Nazarene University. She works with children, teenagers, individuals, couples, and families with various personal struggles including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Jennifer strives to provide a safe environment for her clients to help them navigate through their past and present struggles. Her goal is to be a source of empathy, compassion, and understanding for her clients in order to help them become more authentic with themselves and others. She is passionate about her work because of the acceptance, hope, and healing CFCC provides and also because she is able to witness the work of God firsthand in the hope and healing that takes place.

When you show deep empathy toward others, their defensive energy goes down, and positive energy replaces it. That’s when you can get more creative in solving problems.
