Jordan DeHerrera

 

Jordan De Herrera is a temporary Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (LMLP-T) at Christ First Counseling Center. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Resources from Washburn University. She continued her education at Washburn University, receiving a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Skills. Jordan utilizes a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Interpersonal Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, among others.

Currently, Jordan is working with adults struggling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, relational issues, life stressors, and trauma. She has cultivated therapeutic skills that promote a sense of empathy, compassion, support, and guidance while effectively delivering empirically based treatments to clients. Jordan also assesses and provides treatment for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults.

In her free time, Jordan enjoys reading, baking, playing with her golden retriever, and spending time with her loved ones.
