Liz Gouger

Hi there! I’m Liz, and I’m excited to be part of the CFCC team. My journey in the world of therapy began with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business from the University of Kansas, followed by a Master of Social Work from the same university. I’m a licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and am currently working towards my LSCSW under the guidance of Matt Clayton.

I specialize in supporting teenagers and women who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I also enjoy working with couples. My goal is to help people see how their personal stories connect with the larger story of faith, using spirituality as a powerful tool for healing and growth.

I was drawn to CFCC because I love how the center blends solid therapeutic techniques with biblical principles. It’s a place where I can really align my passion for mental health and faith.

When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me outdoors. I’m a Colorado girl at heart and enjoy all the adventures nature has to offer!

Looking forward to working together!

Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
— Matthew 11:28-30
